Elmore contributor (and musician) Annie Dinerman participated in a workshop last summer at New Hampshire’s Dartmouth College with percussionist Rex Benincasa to bring music and environmental awareness to Dartmouth students. Students were treated to a musical lesson from Rex, learning percussion parts using recycled items as instruments and Annie led a discussion on recycling and re-purposing. The students then performed with Annie and Rex in an outdoor concert on campus. Check out footage of the classroom lessons and the live performance in a short, fun video below:
