Springsteen reveals new video, Clarence’s replacement and more

Your attention please, music lovers and Jersey-philes. The Boss would like to make a few announcements:

1. This morning, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band unveiled a new video for “We Take Care Of Our Own,” the first single from their upcoming 17th album Wrecking Ball (out March 6). And wow, is it a signature Springsteen anthem of patriotic imagery and fist-pumping harmony. You can watch it (a few times on repeat) below.

2. Bruce and the boys will perform at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards this Sunday, briefly stealing the spotlight from Adele who will deliver her first live performance since undergoing vocal cord surgery last November, 2012’s MusicCares Person of the Year, Paul McCartney, and the reunited Beach Boys. @ElmoreMagazine will be live tweeting the Grammys all night with juicy details.

3. Springsteen and the E Street band will hit the road on March 19 for a U.S. and European tour in support of Wrecking Ball. The band recently announced that two saxophonists will fill in for the late Clarence Clemons, further confirming Clarence’s one-of-a-kind awesomeness. Clemons’ nephew Jake, and longtime collaborator Eddie Manion, will share Clarence’s sax duties on tour.

4. The Boss himself will deliver this year’s keynote address at the Austin SXSW music festival on March 15, possibly to announce Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town.

Over and out. Don’t forget to follow @ElmoreMagazine during the Grammys this Sunday at 8 PM EST on CBS. Now watch The Boss rock:
