In an interview with CBS This Morning, Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks announced that the multi-platinum band intends to get back together for a world tour next year.

“So far, that’s the plan,” Nicks told the news organization. “That’s what we do. I do my thing, and Lindsey [Buckingham] is doing his thing.”

The band was “rumored” to go on tour this year at the suggestion of Buckingham, who told Rolling Stone in a 2011 interview that another album could also be in the works. However, Nicks did not make any suggestion of the band going back into the studio.

Fleetwood Mac have not toured together since their “Unleashed” tour in 2009. Nicks is currently on the road with Rod Stewart for the “Heart and Soul” tour.
