Trent Reznor’s How to Destroy Angels Signs with Columbia for Second EP

Trent Reznor’s a busy man. As the singer for Nine Inch Nails, he made angst and gloom cool with the band’s industrial rock. Then he started composing and producing and making all these badass movie scores. And then there were all those drugs, and the alcohol and the depression…well, you know. You heard the songs. Now he has announced that he will be releasing the second EP from his latest project, How to Destroy Angels. Reznor will be releasing An Omen through Columbia Records digitally and in vinyl. If you think An Omen sounds ominous, well you may not be familiar with Reznor’s work. Or you may be familiar with Reznor’s conflicts with big labels. But Reznor seems to have resolved himself to the benefits of signing with a major label like Columbia. “Independent releasing has its great points but also comes with shortcomings,” Reznor said in a Facebook announcement. An Omen comes out November 13.
