John Mayer Announces First Tour In 3 Years

John Mayer tour datesAfter numerous holdups and health problems, John Mayer is finally ready to hit the road behind his 2012 album Born & Raised. Mayer’s tour kicks off in Milwaukee on June 6th. Former American Idol winner Phillip Phillips has been picked to open for Mayer on the tour.

The tour will be Mayer’s first since he was forced to cancel his tour last year because of a throat condition. The singer has appeared sporadically, playing at the Love For Levon benefit concert in October and playing a small set in Montana this January. Mayer will also be one of the many, many musicians playing at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in April before his tour officially starts.
