Robert Plant Set to Play First JamBase Live Festival

Robert Plant Signs His 10 Foot Gibson Les Paul GuitarHey there, Led Zeppelin fans, we know that you’re waiting for the news of that long-awaited reunion. And according to what lead vocalist Robert Plant said last month, he’s free and clear for a reunion in 2014. “[Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones] are Capricorns. They don’t say a word. They’re quite contained in their own worlds and they leave it to me,” he said. “I’m not the bad guy … You need to see the Capricorns—I’ve got nothing to do in 2014.”

While a 2014 Led Zeppelin reunion may still be up in the air, Plant will be doing his own thing in 2013. We recently found out that Plant will be the subject of a new book. But the singer has also set his first U.S. date for this year, which will be a set at the first JamBase Live Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash. Plant will play with his band, Sensation Space Shifters, on July 5 and 6. Acts like Robert Randolph and the Family Band and Bruce Hornsby and the Noisemakers will also perform.
