Robert Plant To Be Subject Of New Book

Robert Plant Led Zeppelin biographyTheBookseller.com reports that a new, extensive biography on Robert Plant featuring an extensive interview with the singer is in the works. The book, titled Robert Plant: A Life, will be written by and Kerrang! editor Paul Rees.

Rees suggests that the book will be a comprehensive look back on the life from his beginnings as a folk singer through his career with Led Zeppelin and the twists and turns he’s taken as a solo artist. Natalie Jerome, publishing director at HarperCollins – who are distributing the book – described the project as “as close to Plant telling his own story in his own words as we’ve come to date.”

Plant’s book comes off of the heels of Jimmy Page’s uniquely-structured autobiography Light and Shade: Conversations With Jimmy Page last year. As of now, there is no specific release date projected for the book, though publishers anticipate that the book will be ready by January 2014.
