Scott Weiland Threatens to Fight Audience Member at NYC Show

scott-weiland-thumbScott Weiland wants you to know that he’ll take you on. He’ll meet you in the back after the show. That’s what nearly happened last weekend. The star threatened to whip out the fisticuffs on an unimpressed audience member. During a show at NYC’s Irving Plaza on Saturday, the singer threatened to beat a heckler up. “Come up and meet me one on one, man. You play tough guy from an audience behind a barricade…,” Weiland said to the offender. Weiland then told a security guard that he’d “love to” fight the heckler. “I just don’t get it,” he said. “Guys like you, fuckin’ waste your money. Actually, let him stay here and just get all fuckin’ riled up. He won’t be able to sleep tonight.” It doesn’t look like Weiland got his fist fight, but we’re pretty sure he would’ve been happy to give the audience member more than just a verbal beating. Weiland has also been in the news recently because of the back-and-forth talk between him and the Stone Temple Pilots over whether or not he is actually fired from the group. Weiland is currently on his solo Purple at the Core tour.
