Jorma Kaukonen Opens Psylodelic Gallery In Ohio

Jorma Kaukonen Psylodelic GalleryJorma Kaukonen’s music is forever tied with the Sixties and psychedelia, so it’s only fitting that he and his wife Vanessa would open a museum dedicated to the music and culture of psychedelia. The Psylodelic Gallery in Meigs County, Ohio contains many artifacts of what is considered to be the crucial era of rock music, including guitars, clothing worn at Woodstock, and concert posters from the ’60s.

The Psylodelic Gallery is formally kicking things off with a Psylodelic Sit-In featuring Big Brother & The Holding Company. The band will perform and sit down for an interview with Jorma that will be recorded and archived with the museum.

The Psylodelic Sit-In takes place on June 29th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the Psylodelic Gallery’s Facebook page.
