Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros Premiere “This Life”

Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros This LifeEdward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros have premiered their song, “This Life,” from their up-and-coming self-titled album (due July 23rd in the U.S.) on RollingStone.com The song features a full gospel choir and strong soulful overtones, in addition to frontman Alex Ebert’s passionate and haunting vocals.  Ebert, who produced the album, expressed his excitement about their new album saying that “These songs mean everything to me”. He calls it the band’s “… rawest, most liberated, most rambunctious stuff we’ve done.”

This album is their first release since May 2012’s Here, which debuted at #1 on the Independent Music Chart and #5 on Billboard Top 200 Chart. The band has spent the past few years winning over audiences from around the world, playing at major festivals such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and more. The band is currently supporting next month’s release on an expansive tour.
