Elton John is releasing a new solo album, The Diving Board, this fall, and he’s announced the news with a black and white trailer. This will be John’s first solo album since 2006’s The Captain and the Kid.

“What kind of music do I really want to make? I have to go back to go forward again,” John says in the trailer. “I am on the diving board.”

The Diving Board, produced by T. Bone Burnett, is due for release this September. You can watch the trailer below.
