After months of teases and half-reveals, Kings of Leon have made it official: their next album, entitled Mechanical Bull, will come out on September 24th on RCA Records.

The band recorded Mechanical Bull at their home studio in Nashville with producer Angelo Petraglia after the band took an extended break from touring and recording. This year also marks the first live appearances that Kings of Leon have made in years, with performances at Napa Valley’s Bottle Rock Fest and New York’s Governor’s Ball whetting fans’ appetites for more new KoL material.
