Dave Matthews learned an important lesson last weekend: If you’re going to ride a bike to your show, you should probably have a cell phone on you in case your tire pops. But that’s exactly what happened when Matthews went on a ride before a Dave Matthews Band show in Hershey, PA. After his tire popped, Matthews was stranded. “I did not have a cell phone on the bicycle. So I thought ‘shit,’” Matthews said.

Luckily, Emily Kraus and her boyfriend were on their way to the concert when they saw Matthews on the side of the road. They offered Matthews a ride to the concert.

What kind of prize does one get for rescuing a stranded celebrity? Well, Matthews took the couple to dinner, invited them backstage and gave them front row seats to the show.
