New Jersey’s finest musicians are making the rounds at Maxwell’s to send the club off before it closes later this year. While it will be a bittersweet occasion, Titus Andronicus’ final performances at the famed rock club will likely resemble something closer to a party than a funeral. These New Jersey residents (who are damn proud to be from Jersey, if you ask them) play a loud, raucous take on punk rock that’s equal parts Clash, Pogues, and Springsteen. A Titus Andronicus show is usually full of surprises, but since this is a hometown show, we expect that they’ll pull out all the stops.
