Between his legal problems with his ex-wife and the hassles of running one of the hippest record labels in the country, it’s surprising that Jack White has any time to record music of his own. Now, it appears that White has found that time and he’s bringing back one of his old groups to do it.

Yesterday, the Third Man Records Twitter account confirmed that The Dead Weather-the band White started with Kills singer Alison Mosshart-are at work on a new album, their first since 2010’s Sea Of Cowards. Since then, the band have been busy with their other projects: besides White’s solo career and Mosshart’s work with the Kills, guitarist Dean Fertita has been plenty busy himself with Queens Of The Stone Age.

Third Man hasn’t given a specific time frame as to when a new Dead Weather album will be coming out, but it looks to be happening soon.
