The lineup for this year’s iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas is heating up—as though Las Vegas isn’t hot enough. Paul McCartney has just been added to the bill for the fest, which takes place at the MGM Grand Arena on Sept.20-21. McCartney will hit the stage on Saturday, Sept. 21.
McCartney will just improve an already killer lineup that includes Phoenix, Fun., Muse, Queen (with Adam Lambert) and others.
“After only two years, the iHeartRadio Music Festival has attracted the biggest music artist in the world,” Co-Executive Producer John Sykes said, boasting of the festival’s latest addition. “There’s no bigger icon in music,” Co-Executive Producer Tom Poleman added.
It sounds like it’ll be a good time, but unfortunately, the all-star event is already sold out. There’s still hope for fans; Clear Channel radio stations will broadcast the concert live in 150 markets all over the nation. According to All Access, the event will also be shown as a two-night special on the CW Network on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. For more information, check out the festival website.
