Dylan Fest Returns To New York City

Dylan Fest, the star-studded Bob Dylan tribute show from the people who organize Stones Fest and Petty Fest (you can see the theme here…), is returning to New York’s Bowery Ballroom for a two-night stay in November. The festival draws a decent collection of musicians, and this year is no exception: featured at Dylan Fest this year are Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, Doyle Bramhall II, Dhani Harrison, Elvis Perkins, Craig Finn & Tad Kubler of The Hold Steady, Danny Clinch, and Jesse Malin, among others.

The Dylan Fests have been going on in New York for some time now, starting as a collection of intimate shows to celebrate Bob Dylan’s 60th birthday. Since then, it’s only gotten bigger, and this year looks to be the biggest yet. All proceeds from this year’s Dylan Fest will benefit the Sweet Relief Musician’s Fund, which provides funding for musicians who are struggling to make ends meet while dealing with injury, illness, or other health concerns.

Tickets for Dylan Fest go on sale on October 18th. For more information and a full lineup, click here.
