Elmore Wishes A Happy Birthday To Jim Croce

Jim Croce was one of the most unique voices in folk music. He provided a voice for the working-class heroes of America, a role he knew quite well himself. The struggles he faced in order to become a musician only made his songwriting that much more poignant – and for that, his music lives on long after his untimely death. Somewhere, a kid is listening to You Don’t Mess Around with Jim for the first time and having a whole new world open up for him. So turn up the speakers and listen to these classic Croce tunes as we celebrate what would have been his 71st birthday.

“You Don’t Mess Around With Jim”

“I Got A Name”

“Operator”

“Bad, Bad Leroy Brown”

“Time In A Bottle”
