On paper, it wouldn’t seem like Aimee Mann and Ted Leo would be such a perfect musical fit for each other, but that’s proven to be the case since they joined up to form The Both late last year. Their debut album, The Both, is out now on Mann’s own SuperEgo Records, and the pair are set to perform at the first American installment of the Modern Sky Festival in New York later this month. They recently stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to perform their single “Volunteers of America,” and the result is as tight and solid as anything they’ve ever done. You can watch the video below:
