We’d be surprised if you didn’t know a Tommy James song at this point. The man has been writing songs for 50 years, and he’s certainly penned his fair share of classics, from “Crimson & Clover” and “Mony Mony” to “Crystal Blue Persuasion” and “I Think We’re Alone Now.” That his songs could stand up to so many varied interpretations from the likes of Billy Idol, Joan Jett, and Tiffany is a testament to just how skilled of a songwriter he is. Still, it’s worth it to see the man play his songs himself, and he and The Shondells are still going strong. They’ll be hitting the ski slopes this weekend when they come to Penn’s Peak Resort in the Poconos. For more info and to purchase tickets, visit the Penn’s Peak website.
