The War On Drugs don’t necessarily look back into the past as much as they deconstruct it. The Philadelphia-based psych-rock project of Adam Granduciel is an amalgamation of styles and influences pieced together into a thrilling, original whole. The band’s latest album, Lost In The Dream, feels like a culmination of the endless potential that Granduciel has shown over the years. As a result, the band appear to have moved up in stature as they find themselves headlining Denver’s Ogden Theatre. They’ve always been a trip in concert, and this show is probably not going to be an exception. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit the Ogden Theatre website.
