Watch The New Basement Tapes Play On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Jim James, Rhiannon Giddens Take Turns On Lead Vocals

The New Basement Tapes are in the midst of an all-out media blitz, performing selections from Lost On The River on all the usual late-night talk shows to promote the album. Last night, they stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to deliver a one-two punch of great performances. My Morning Jacket’s Jim James took center stage first on “Nothing To It,” while Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Rhiannon Giddens led the band in a performance of “Duncan And Jimmy.” You can watch both performances below.

Lost on The River is available now.
