As it turns out, there’s more to Chris Robinson than meets the eye. The Black Crowes frontman may ply his trade in gutsy, hard-driving rock, but he also has a jammier side that he lets loose on a regular basis with The Chris Robinson Brotherhood. Three albums in, the Brotherhood find themselves riding a reliable Dead-inspired groove, and their latest album Phosphorescent Harvest may be their finest yet. As expected, the band put on a hell of a live show, and Sacramento’s going to find out just what we mean when the band head to Harlow’s, just in time for the release of their new EP.
