Whether you’ve been embracing the spirit of the holidays, or have yet to catch the season’s cheer, Gotham’s Holiday Swing at New York’s historic Town Hall is guaranteed to delight.

Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks, New York’s famed traditional jazz band, promises a night of “swing and modern interpretations of classic holiday songs rooted in early 20th century traditions, as well as popular songs in the holiday spirit.” And in case that doesn’t have you convinced, they’ve recruited some famous friends, including This American Life‘s Ira Glass, jazz violinist Regina Carter, David Johansen alter ego Buster Poindexter, Argentine vocalist Sofia Rei and more. It promises to be a wonderful, festive evening of storytelling, comedy and, of course, dance.
