Gregg Allman Announces Solo Tour

The Allman Brothers Band may be done and dusted, but Gregg Allman has no plans to stop rockin’ any time soon. The singer just wrapped up his first post-Allmans tour, and he’ll be back out on the road again this spring for a tour that brings him to some great venues and a few festival dates.

Allman, who was recently honored with the Grammy-nominated all-star tribute album All My Friends, kicks things off on March 13th at the Hard Rock Casino in Northfield, Ohio. From there, Allman and his band (which features the likes of Scott Sharrard, Peter Levin, and Marc Quinones, among others), will cross the country. Notable performances include a two-night stand at the House Of Blues in Chicago, a performance at The Roxy in Los Angeles, a night on Austin City Limits, and a slot at the Stagecoach Festival. Amanda Shires and Devon Allman will be opening for Gregg on some of the tour dates.
