It’s hard to describe Lucero in a way that does them justice. Are they punk? Are they country? Are they rock ‘n’ roll? Quite frankly, who gives a shit? When a band is as good as Lucero is–and Lucero are really, really good–things like genre classification don’t really matter. What does matter is the music, and Lucero have been pouring their hearts into their music for 16 years now. That sort of passion comes through onstage, where the band tear it up and their fans go nuts. Call it whatever you’d like, but it’s all great music as far as we’re concerned.
