Americana Music Association Artist and Album of the Year winner Jason Isbell will be heading out this May for a tour of the East Coast in support of his new digital release, Sea Songs. The release features his wife Amanda Shires and consists of two striking covers of Warren Zevon’s “Mutineer” and Lykke Li’s “I Follow Rivers.” The tour begins in Clearwater, FL on May 13th and makes its way up to New York before heading back down south, culminating in Bristol, TN on the 28th. This announcement follows an incredibly successful tour for Isbell & The 400 Unit, including a sold-out show at New York’s historic Beacon Theatre and a string of sold out shows at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium. Isbell has also announced that he will be heading into the studio shortly to work with producer Dave Cobb (Chris Cornell, Rival Sons) for his follow-up to 2013’s critically-acclaimed Southeastern.
