I haven’t been at Folk Alliance even 24 hours, and already I have two new favorite bands. Canada’s the Greenbank Trio haave sharp harmonies, great lyrics, and enough energy to power a medium-sized town like Kansas City.

Pushing Chain, out of northern Minnesota, gave a wonderful performance, a perfectly timed duo of guitar and fiddle topped off with exuberant vocals that left everyone in the room grinning. Give me more like this!
