Legendary guitarist and songwriter David Crosby was been involved in a car accident in Santa Ynez, California. Though Crosby was driving the posted speed limit of 55 miles per hour, he managed to strike a jogger with his 2015 black Tesla. The street is not far from Crosby’s home, and the victim was airlifted to Santa Barbara’s Cottage Hospital shortly after the incident.

The victim, 46-year-old Jose Jiminez, reportedly suffered non life-threatening injuries. Jiminez was unfortunately thrust forward and has suffered multiple fractures and lacerations. TMZ reported that the investigation is on-going, but no intoxicants have been suspected.

“David Crosby is obviously very upset that he accidentally hit anyone. And, based off of initial reports, he is relieved that the injuries to the gentleman were not life threatening.  He wishes the jogger a very speedy recovery,” Crosby’s publicist said.  Crosby reportedly could not see the road because of sun glare and stopped immediately following the incident to offer his aid.
