Unkown Mortal Orchestra Unveil Innovative Video/App

Unknown Mortal Orchestra new songPsychedelic rockers Unknown Mortal Orchestra have just unveiled their newest video along with an innovative new app. The video is for the song “Multi-Love,” which will also be the title of their forthcoming record.

UMO has also included an app that plays as a video game and in the words of director Lionel Williams, “It is meant to represent the vacuum of space by impressing upon inter-dimensional unfolding, immaterial objects, and time-driven reverberation of events. The virtual space allows for most 3D objects to trail in time – based on the directions one moves.” UMO is clearly thinking outside of the box for this one.

Williams continued by saying, “You can construct & paint the objects in space to stretch them in any direction, to create infinitely vast compositional spaces.” It appears that their app will be just as psychedelic as their music.
