Tinsley Ellis has been proudly keeping the tradition of guitar-driven blues rock alive for years. The Atlanta native pulls inspiration from icons like Freddie King and Duane Allman as well as the recent guitar heroics of Warren Haynes, all while adding his own, unique touch to proceedings. The result is a blues rock sound that gets stretched and expanded in a live setting. It gives Ellis a live power comparable to that of jam bands like Widespread Panic, but it all comes gloriously back to the blues for Ellis, and that’s really what makes him great.
