The Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts and the Patchogue Folk Festival will be offering folk fans the opportunity to watch Grammy-winning folk legends Tom Paxton and Janis Ian share the stage. Ian, the singer/songwriter best known for her 1975 hit “At Seventeen,” and Paxton, the Greenwich Village folk scene veteran and famed writer of protest songs, will be sharing the Patchogue stage as part of their spring 2015 tour.

The Patchogue show, like the tour, will be particularly notable because, rather than a simple double-bill. the two folk singers will actually be performing together. As Paxton says, “It’s going to be very different from what people might expect. It’s not your generic split bill. We take the stage together and we stay onstage together most of the time, singing on one another’s songs.” For tickets and more information, click here.
