Soulful rock band Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds will be making circles around the country this fall as they hit the road on tour in support of their new album, The Weather Below, stopping in Seattle, WA for a show at the Nectar Lounge.

Since 2011, the Brooklyn-based, seven-piece band, led by powerhouse front woman, Arleigh Kincheloe, has had huge success touring, playing upwards of 130 shows a year in 45 US states, Canada and Asia. The band has racked up a notable list of festival performances, including Bonnaroo, SXSW, Voodoo Fest, Bottlerock and many more. Backed by the mighty force of the Dirty Birds (Jackson Kincheloe on harmonica, Sasha Brown on guitar, Josh Myers on bass, Dan Boyden on drums, Phil Rodriguez on trumpet and Brian Graham on saxophone), the group masterfully lays down thundering grooves and soaring melodies, with Kincheloe’s astounding voice and sly demeanor making for a spellbinding presence both on and off the stage.

Their latest studio album, The Weather Below, features 10 fiery, soul-filled original tracks written by Arleigh Kincheloe, and is the result of a collaboration with Grammy Award-winning producer Ryan Hadlock. The Weather Below blends seductive soul and dirty blues rock, putting a modern spin on classic soul.
