Either as a successful singer, composer, actor, writer, television personality and motivational speaker, Pat Boone is likely a name you have heard before. With over 60 years in the entertainment business, Boone is one of pop music’s best selling artists. According to Billboard, Boone was the second biggest charting artist of the late 1950s (behind Elvis, of course). Boone still holds the Billboard record for spending 220 consecutive weeks on the charts with one or more songs each week.

Now, with Boone’s first-ever R&B album, he works with some of the genre’s greatest. Duets include “Papa’s Got a Brand New Bag” with James Brown, “Soul Man” with Sam Moore, and “I Can’t Help Myself” with the Four Tops. Other collaborators include Smokey Robinson, Robert Bell of Kool and the Gang, Ray Parker Jr., KC and the Sunshine Band, Joni Sledge, Geraldo Albright, Kool Moe Dee, and Earth Wind & Fire.

Yes, you’ve heard these songs before. But not like this. And not on one album.
