Israeli-French singer/songwriter Yael Naim will return to the U.S. for the first time since 2011 with performances in Chicago and NYC this month. Naim’s instant success in both France and abroad came shortly after her self-titled album went Gold in 2008. The lead single “New Soul” was handpicked by Steve Jobs himself for an Apple advertisement.

Naim’s new album Older is out now in France and coming to the U.S. later this year. It’s mixed by Grammy winning producer Michael Brauer (Coldplay , Grizzly Bear, M Ward) and has already gone Gold in France, boasting two 2016  Victoires de la Musique (France’s Grammys) nominations for Female Artist Of The Year and Album Of The Year. She will be perform on the televised awards ceremony on February 12th.

Older is highlighted by singles “Coward” and “Dream In My Head”. The album is a collaborative effort by Naim and partner David Donatien, recorded in their home on the outskirts of Paris. It’s inspired by Naim’s roots and features guest musicians such as Carolina Chocolate Drops’ Leyla Mccalla and drummer  Zigaboo Modeliste of The Meters.

Naim will play in the U.S. on the following dates:

2/22: Chicago, IL @ City Winery

2/23: New York, NY @ City Winery

2/24: New York, NY @ City Winery
