The 15th Annual Northwest String Summit kicks off this summer on July 14th for a four-day weekend of good food, specialty beer, family-fun, camping, and tons of great fan-favorite music. Nestled in the “northwest paradise” of Horning’s Hideout, a prime campground location for getting in touch with nature just 20 miles outside of Portland, the Americana-roots music festival will celebrate its fifteenth year with local talent and big-time musicians. Headlining this year will be bluegrass band Yonder Mountain String Band, followed by other beloved acts like The Infamous Stringdusters, MarchFourth!, one-man jam band Keller Williams (this time jamming with two separate bands instead of performing his solo work), Polyrhythmics, and folk cellist Ben Sollee.

The main stage will be active all four days but for more fun, other tents and stages will be simultaneously screening documentaries, launching artist workshops, and providing tons of Portland-based food vendors and collaborative organizations. In its 13th year, the Northwest String Summit Band Competition will also be in effect on Friday of the festival, with four musicians selected by a panel of worthy judges (including members of the headlining band). For ticket information, head over to the festival’s website and get ready to vibe and jive to four days of Americana anthems with the full line-up below:
