In 2013, Shovels & Rope, won the Emerging Artist of the Year award at the Americana Music Association. Three years later, and the Charleston, South Carolina duo is still going strong and living up to that title.
Husband and wife Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst are currently touring behind their October release, Little Seeds, and they brought their unique blend of folk, rock ‘n’ roll, country rock and punk rock to New York City’s Bowery Ballroom.
