When blues artists get the blues, they buckle down and play. That’s what’s going on in Upstate New York’s Plattsburgh, where artists are putting on a virtual “concert” for the Strand Theatre, which has hosted so many in good times.

Promoter and Elmore photographer Dr. Laura Carbone, already in the trenches as a medical doctor, has gathered Sugaray Rayford, Kenny Neal, Victor Wainwright, Dave Keller, John Nemeth, Dawn Tyler Watson, Mr. Sipp and Danielle Nicole to perform three songs each for a live podcast on Saturday, April 18 at 7 PM Eastern (EDST).

A joint venture with the Strand Center for the Arts and the Plattsburgh Blues and Jazz (PB&J) association, you can find this great music on Facebook, @ Strand Center for the Arts.

Click HERE for PB&J live stream, HERE for Strand live stream. Either one will give you the best seat in the house.

Tune in, turn on, make your own popcorn.
