Answer: Although James Brown had several R&B hits beginning in 1956, including the incredible Please Please Please, his first record to hit the [it]Billboard[it] pop chart was Try Me. It entered the Top 100 on December 15, 1958, and made it to number 48. His biggest hit, I Got You (I Feel Good) made it to number 3 as 1965 rolled into 1966.

Question Two: Many of the classic songs we all know have come from some very odd sources. One of those was Tommy Edwards' 1958 number one hit, It's All in the Game. Who wrote the music to that song? How else was he a historical figure?

Answer: The music to It's All in the Game was composed in 1911 by Charles Dawes,who became Vice President under Calvin Coolidge. Carl Sigman, a lyricist, added words to the melody in 1951.
