Question One: The original drummer from Jefferson Airplane quit the group in 1966 to form Moby Grape. Who was this drummer?
Answer: Skip Spence left Jefferson Airplane to form Moby Grape. Unfortunately, Spence consumed so much LSD and other hallucinogens that he had a total mental breakdown in 1968. He tried recording again after a six-month stay at Bellevue hospital and was part of a Grape reunion during the 1970s. He passed away in 1999 from various medical conditions.

Question Two: Peter Lewis was guitarist and vocalist for Moby Grape. He was also the son of a famous actress. Who was his mother?
Answer: Peter Lewis was the son of Loretta Young and screenwriter Tom Lewis. His brother, Christopher Lewis, directed several films during the 1980s and '90s. Before joining Moby Grape, Peter was a member of the Cornells, a surf band that also included sons of Art Linkletter (Bob) and Dennis O'Keefe (Jim).

Question Three: The Doors were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Among the memorabilia on display in the museum is a uniform worn by Jim Morrison. What type of uniform is displayed for visitors to see?
Answer: Jim Morrison's Cub Scout uniform hangs as part of an incisive and personal exhibit. Among the articles that make up the exhibit are a painting created when Morrison was 10 or 11 years old—definitely a glimpse into the future mentality of the singer—and a letter from a family friend written to Jim’s father stating that he should force his wayward son to cut his hair.
