An alert reader writes: Thanks for your good article in July 2005 on Guthries & Seegers, young & old, BUT pic on p. 17 is not of Tao [Rodriguez]…and I did not write “How Can I Keep From Singing.” The words, 1855, were written by Anne Warner…and the 3rd freedom verse was by my friend Doris Plenn…P.S. Thanks for article on George David Weiss in July 2007 issue! He’s a genius unrecognized.

God bless ya Scott, Andy & Alan, you chose some good spots for your “Great California Venues” but left out the best in my humble opinion... the Frost Ampitheater in Palo Alto which is still used although selectively at the university’s discretion… also, Shoreline shouldn’t be on there—they call it “The Dump” not solely cause it was built on a landfill in Mountain View. Just my two cents... take care.
