Rush’s Geddy Lee To Appear On ‘That Metal Show’ Premiere

Geddy Lee That Metal ShowVH1’s premier metal-themed talk show That Metal Show is returning for its 14th season, and they’ll be kicking things off right with Rush bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee coming to the show as their first guest. The show will also feature Dream Theater guitarist John Petrucci sitting in on guitar for his first appearance on the show.

That Metal Show and Rush have a special connection: Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson were among the show’s first guests. Lee will be promoting Rush’s upcoming 40th anniversary tour, which kicks off this summer. Between the tour, the success of their last album Clockwork Angels, and their recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame after years of eligibility, it’s been a stellar few years for the Canadian prog legends, so expect Geddy to be in a celebratory mood.

That Metal Show returns on February 21st at 9pm EST on VH1. Fans can also watch past clips and bonus footage from recently-aired episodes on the That Metal Show website.
