Born and raised in Maypearl, Texas, Americana singer/songwriter and entrepreneur Bart Crow has already had a gratifying career in music by anyone’s standards. Notching up six #1 singles on the Texas Music Chart, Crow self-released his first five studio albums, catching the eye of famed label Thirty Tigers.

Crow first began writing music when he was serving for the United States Army, and shortly after returning home he met his future wife, Brooke, and moved out to Austin. Now raising a four year old and a pair of twins, Crow is reinvigorated to get back on the road in support of his family and his musical dream.

In this first installment or four videos, we are welcomed into the studio with Crow and his recording band, getting an insight into the conception of the tracks which make up the album. In the video, Crow and his producer Justin Pollard joke together and recount the moments where inspiration struck. In one funny vignette, Crow remembers how, inspired by the myriad of themes which make up the album, producer Pollard had a eureka moment and named the new album, lifting the metaphor from the first track on the album, “Queen of the Heartbreak Parade.”

Watch the first part of Crow’s “Making of The Parade” below and check back next week for Part Two.
