Leslie DiNicola’s back to knock it out of the park once more after her critically praised EP, Wake Up, which was part of an ongoing collaboration with Julian Coryell, son of jazz legend Larry Coryell. DiNicola is quickly making a name for herself with well composed melodies that keep your feet moving and lyrics that touch intimately and honestly on human emotions that we all share.

Today, Elmore Magazine is debuting DiNicola’s follow up single to Wake Up, “Boy + Girl.” “”Boy + Girl” is a song about longing,” the singer/songwriter says. “It’s about awakening parts of ourselves that can sometimes be left dormant or hidden out of fear and shame: the precious human parts of us that inherently desire connection and intimacy.” DiNicola shines on the track with her powerful pop vocals, which are confident and sincere, especially on the song’s soaring, rock-tinged choruses.
