I’ve never actually met Mitch Schneider, founder of SRO PR (formerly MSO PR), but after years of sharing information about hundreds—perhaps thousands—of artists, I consider us more-than-Facebook friends. Mitch and his wife recently relocated to Las Vegas, and he emailed me about their drive around the Arts District there on Sunday, with photos of what he aptly dubbed “Pandemic Graffiti.”

The Coronavirus is not only  getting into all our heads, it’s also bringing all our hearts together, street artists and gangbangers included. Social distancing has actually drawn us closer, and in a positive, not negative way. It’s said “The enemy of my enemy is my friend,”  but I choose to believe that we can look at this from a “Family of man” and “Brotherhood” perspective instead. I hope we can retain the positive part of this experience, when the new normal sets in.
