Lately, the rumors have been spreading regarding a Coachella reunion of classic English rockers the Smiths. But if you believe those rumors, then Morrissey wants to clear that up for you. “The Smiths are never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever going to reunite — ever,” Morrissey’s publicist told Rolling Stone. When asked about Morrissey’s very adamant refusal, his rep said, “You’d have to ask Morrissey that. There’s got to be a story there, and maybe one day it will be told.” Morrissey’s not the only one. Guitarist Johnny Marr has also rejected the idea of a reunion. Morrissey has a couple of his own stuff in the works. The singer/songwriter will be appearing on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon tonight, and then he’ll kick off his U.S tour in Boston this Friday. He’s also got an autobiography coming up, which is likely to be released next year.
