Hi, everyone,
As many of you know, most of the East Coast was ravaged this week by Hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately for Elmore, this includes New York, the city in which our office is based and the city which many of our writers and magazine staff call home. We’re pleased to say that no one at Elmore was harmed, but the aftermath of Sandy is something that we, along with the rest of the city, are going to be dealing with for some time.
We’d like to ask you to keep our executive director Arnie Goodman in your thoughts. Arnie’s home in Rockaway was completely flooded during the storm, and it is unclear how or when he and his family can make the house habitable again.
We encourage you to donate or help as best you can. We encourage you to donate to the American Red Cross and other charities that are active in the area.
