Eric Clapton Announces U.S. Tour

You don’t know nothing about Clapton’s guitar. Okay, so maybe you do. We just wanted to get your attention. But the mere mention of the influential guitarist should be enough to get you buzzing. If not, then as we said, you really don’t know about this guy’s guitar. A former member of multiple bands including John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, the Yardbirds and Derek & the Dominos, Clapton has won not one, not two, but three inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Clapton has announced a new U.S. tour for next spring. The guitarist will start off on March 14th in Phoenix and ultimately end up at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in our own Madison Square Garden on April 12th and 13th. The festival will feature other big names like the Allman Brothers Band, John Mayer, BB King, Brad Paisley, Jeff Beck and Gary Clark Jr., among others. We know—spring seems a far way off. But you can get your tickets to see Eric Clapton and others at the Crossroads Guitar Festival starting next week. Think of it as an early holiday gift to yourself. You really outdid yourself this year. General on-sale tickets for the Crossroads Guitar Festival begins on November 30th. You can check out Eric Clapton’s website and the Crossroads Guitar Festival’s website for more info.
