Last year, Billie Joe Armstrong was penciled into the archives of rockers (and celebrities in general, actually) who have flipped out and offended large masses of people in classic over-dramatic superstar fashion. September saw the Green Day frontman throw a tantrum at the iHeartRadio festival, and then the rocker entered rehab. Armstrong’s troubles caused the band to cancel and push back tour dates. Fortunately, Armstrong seems to be doing much better, so the band has rescheduled the canceled dates and postponed shows. “We want to thank everyone for hanging in with us for the last few months,” the band said in a released statement. “We are very excited to hit the road and see all of you again.” They will be kicking off the tour on March 28th in Chicago. Green Day will be hitting Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for a show on April 7th.
