As the Dead Weather (Jack White, the Kills’ Alison Mosshart, Queens of the Stone Age’s Dean Fertita, the Greenhornes’ Jack Lawrence) prepare for next year’s release of their first studio album since 2010, fans have been treated to a steady stream of new singles teasing the release. The latest in that series, “Buzzkill(er),” just dropped, and its pounding drums and jagged guitars are sure to please both Dead Weather stalwarts and converts. Check out the track below (available for digital purchase along with another new song, “It’s Just Too Bad,” on November 4)  and wonder why these guys were silent for so many years…and then remember that it’s because all of them have several other, very famous, bands to attend to as well.
